We heard through word of mouth, that Hypoxi had a new way to target fat that they claim actually works. Now, we at TruLife Magazine, are always interested in new businesses opening up in the health care industry and we were curious about these folks. We paid them a visit in December of 2008, and it was then that we met Sabine and Herb.

The Suit

The Vacunaut machine at Hypoxi consists of an advanced vacuum exercise suit (similar to a wetsuit) with an integrated fat activation system. Inside the suit there is a network of 122 pockets in the belly and hip area of the vacuum suit which can produce both low and high pressure.

You are on an elliptical machine completing a moderate workout. Moderate workout? Well, for those of you, who say I haven’t worked out for years, don’t worry about it. At Hypoxi they will figure out your optimal fat burning heart rate which is much lower then most people think. In fact, Hypoxi encourages a lower heart rate which is about the equivalent of a fast paced walk.
When you are seated upright in the Hypoxi S120, it is essential to be enclosed in a vacuum chamber from the waist down. During your session, you gently cycle as alternating vacuum therapy is set to work on your skin and fatty tissue.

Two essential components in the fat burning process are blood circulation and muscle movement. It is understood that blood flow plays an extremely important role in the whole fat burning process.
